BENT OBJECT: WINNING…

On the 24th and 25th of March, Bent Object will present Winning…, a
Foton production, co-produced by Buda Kortrijk. The performance features
in Buda's Fresh festival.

Winning… takes a glimpse into the high life of a media starlet caught in
the dream machine. Her daily routine is rewound and replicated over and
over as she fast-forwards through a world where losing focus could mean
losing everything. When cause and effect seem to merge she struggles to
remain herself.

Winning… explores a triangular relationship between movement, sound and
image - a constant process of exchange, feedback and continuous looping.
The performance combines dance with live electronic music. Vocals and
visuals are controlled through the use of sensors attached to the body,
controlling sound and video processing software.
