IMAL launches its summer workshops

IMAL Workshops

iMAL launched the first training courses of summer in 2005, and following the success, they decided to repeat it this year. In this case, the training courses will be given in the new buildings of iMAL, at 30-34 Quai des Charbonnages in Brussels.

The program includes 6 training courses which approach techniques and expressions increasingly used in visual arts, installations, performing arts, or digital art (Net art, art of the code, interactivity).

Three training courses approach and look further into the MAX/Jitter environment, with special attention to video real time, movement analysis, real time 3D and physical modeling systems. A training course is devoted to the art of the code, increasingly present in current creations. Also there will be another workshop proposing an introduction to Physical Computing, or how to make “sensitive” a computer by connecting sensors, engines… The last course concentrates on the creation of content platforms (CMS) on the Web in a "freeware environment".
