Yes! What's on Art is one year old now!
Twelve months ago Rosa and me started this adventure without knowing what would happen, just for the fun of it, as a simple game.
Now, looking back, we get quite surprised of how all this grew, and what we already got. From a simple blog, What's on Art has developed to a big community, one of the first Belgian art communities on the web. We shared videos, images, opinions. We were invited by big fairs linke Arco or Art Brussels, and have followed plenty of events and exhibitions. As a result we have realized plenty of posts, reviews, interviews and videos about exhibitions in Belgium. Just have a look around the site and check it by yourself.
What’s on Art is starting to be recognized by institutions and organizations as another digital media that diffuses Belgian Art. That is our passion and that is what we are working for. In just 12 months we have duplicated exponentially our visits, having more than a 50% of returning visitors, not only from Belgium, but from all around the world. And all this, just investing our time and effort. The fact that What’s on Art is in English and that Rosa an me are Spanish gives an international dimension to the site, it is a look from outside to outside, a particular way to diffuse and evaluate Belgian Art.
But this is just the begining. We are decided to continue developing all this, using as meny web 2.0 tools as we find, to make this place more participative, to give you a word and definitelly to create a space for art lovers to interchange ideas and opinions, a space for YOU.
Thank you!
