Summer Project 2007 Knokke 8.8.8

8 artists, 8 designers, 8 openings…

This summer two young entrepreneurs from Ghent, the Hoet Bekaert Gallery and the interior designer Frederic Hooft, go side by side in the Summer Pproject 8.8.8, to be held in what has been described as BelgiumÂ’'s trendiest seaside resort, Knokke. Every week, during 8 weeks, an artist as well as a designer will get an exhibition in an old bakery, where Frederic Hooft's vintage furniture boutique is kept open all year round.

Every saturday night another exhibition will have its vernissage.

Hoet Bekaert Gallery, organizer of summer projects in 2004 and 2005, will show new coming artists not bound (yet) to the gallery (except for Aaron Van Erp). An unique opportunity to bring out new and unknown talent. Frederic Hooft will highlight several designers every week.
